San Cristóbal de Las Casas
Discover the magic of this charming city

San Cristóbal de las Casas is a bustling colonial city nestled among mountains in the state of Chiapas. Founded in 1528 by the Spanish, San Cristóbal still preserves numerous colonial constructions in perfect condition, which give the city a magical atmosphere and have earned it the UNESCO World Heritage designation.

Declared a Magical Town in 2011, its cobbled streets hide a cosmopolitan and bohemian atmosphere that intertwines with the tradition of its Tzotzil and Tzeltal communities, turning the town into a rich cultural space. The colourful colonial houses, craft markets, and the region's vast gastronomic offerings add great value to the attractiveness of San Cristóbal.

With our hotel as a starting point, you can begin your visit to the town by walking along the Andador Eclesiástico, a pedestrian street located just a block and a half from the hotel, which, along with the Andador Real de Guadalupe, serves as the heart of the town and provides access to the main points of interest in the city.
